This stylish jar is made from recycled glass jars, fitted with a hand-carved wooden lid with a food-grade silicone seal. The lid is inspired by the clove flower, the island’s main spice. Karafuu is the Swahili name for cloves. During harvest, the cloves are sun-dried, and their spicy aroma can be smelled in villages around the island. A beautiful example of craftsmanship that combines functionality and tradition.
